Micropace today announced the long-awaited release of its revolutionary SureTouch Software 4.0. This re-thinking of the classic EPS320 interface has been hailed by early users as a leap forward in ergonomics and usability for electrophysiological diagnostic stimulators and is based on over 14 years of global market feedback.
"... so far the staff comments have been unanimous regarding the revisions rendering the interface more intuitive and approachable (I fully agree with that)."
Said a leading researcher at a major New England US hospital.
The new software is designed with touch controls firmly in mind, reflecting the fact that EP technicians and doctors are technology consumers as well as professionals. The interface is redesigned with much larger touch zones, a tactile overlay for sightless location of key controls (StimLab only), and ultra-high contrast of all important features. It has also been reorganized for optimum workflow in the modern EP lab, and is fully retrocompatible with the keyboard hotkeys on all previous versions so retraining of lab staff isn't required.
The stimulator also comes with over 1 hour of brand new in-built training videos (click here to view) and multi-language User Instruction Manuals. Other enhancements include an improved HFS protocol for GP ablation support, improved PPI protocol, a permanent voltage display, and the ability to double-tap items to open their parameters.
According to a trainer at a major multi-site, leading EP hospital in the US, "The staff liked that the interface was both simple and easy to use and the fellows were “ooo’ing” and “aaa’ing” at the various protocols I showed them."
All of these improvements come with the same legendary Micropace reliability, performance, and value. The new software is distributed worldwide on Micropace's StimLab, StimCor, and EPS320 stimulators by Boston Scientific Corporation and GE Healthcare.
